Away fans at Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium, also known as Ogi Bridge Meadow Stadium, occupy a space in the North End stand.
With a total capacity of 2,467, the away end typically accommodates 10% of the spectators at the venue. This is a requirement by the Welsh Premier League in cases where the capacity of a stadium is below 30,000.
However, away seating allocation may vary depending on the match.
Conygar Bridge Meadow football ground is the most westerly of the Welsh Premier League grounds. It has, in recent years, seen some investment which has generally spruced up its appearance, as well as added additional seating capacity.
Main Stand
On one side is the Main Stand. This fair-sized stand is the largest on the ground and is covered and all seated. It runs for around half the length of the pitch and sits astride the halfway line, with flat standing areas on either flank.
Unfortunately, it does have many supporting pillars running across the front of the stand as well as the bases of two floodlight pylons on both sides, which could impede your view. The team dugouts are located in front of this stand.
Opposite are two small all-seated and covered stands, which are identical in look and size. They are separated in the middle by a taller enclosed structure that serves as a press box and a platform for a TV gantry.
The Town End
Both stands are on the small side, being only four rows of seating high. The Town End, as it is known, is dominated by the white coloured buildings of the Club offices, changing rooms and Clubhouse. There is a flat standing area in front of these buildings, as well as a couple of steps of terracing.
In one corner of the ground, in-between the Town End and the Main Stand, is an odd-looking structure. This small blue coloured box, with a glass frontage, must serve as a Director’s or Corporate Guest facility.
North End
The opposite North End, is a small open terrace. Both ends behind each goal have a large area of netting erected right at the front of them to try and prevent balls from going out of bounds.
However, their location is not great as spectators in this area have to view the game through the netting, giving almost a ‘prison’ feel of watching the game. There is a set of eight floodlight pylons on the ground, four of which run down each side of the pitch. The ground is overlooked in one corner by the nearby St David’s Church.
Here are some popular chants by home fans you will often hear at Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium:
- Hi-Ho Haverfordwest
At the ground itself is the Bluebirds Clubhouse Bar, which welcomes visiting supporters. Otherwise, there doesn’t appear to be any other pubs located nearby. The town centre, though, is only around a 15-minute walk away, where there are plenty of pubs to be found. Two of note on Quay Street are a Wetherspoons pub called the William Owen and the CAMRA Good Beer Guide listed Bristol Trader.
By train
Haverfordwest Railway Station is located just under one mile away, or a 15-minute walk from the ground. It is served by trains from Cardiff Central and Milford Haven.
As you come out of the main station entrance, turn left and walk down the station approach road onto the main road towards the town centre. You will pass an Aldi store on your right, and the Milford Arms on your left. Cross over in a safe place to the other side of the road, and at the roundabout, turn right at the Jeep Garage onto Freeman’s Way.
Just past the County Hotel (over on your left), take the footbridge over the road to the other side. On leaving the footbridge, you turn back on yourself (so that you are walking away from the County Hotel), following the footpath at the side of the road.
At the next roundabout, turn left towards St Davids, by cutting through the car park in front of the Wilkinson’s Store. Then you will need to cross over the road and take the next right-hand turn (where there is a circle of stones on one corner). Continue along this road passing Morrisons on your right and then around the right-hand bend, and at the end, you will reach the ground entrance. Be careful, though walking along this road as there is no pavement.

At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto the A487 towards St Davids. Then, just past the Morrisons Store, take the next right-hand turn (there is a circle of stones on one side). At the bottom of this lane, after going around the right-hand bend, you will reach the main Club entrance.
From The North
Follow the A40 towards Haverfordwest. On reaching the Withybush Roundabout, take the third exit towards Haverfordwest (A4076). Go straight across at the next roundabout towards the Town Centre (A40), passing a Retail Park on your right.
You will then reach a Morrisons Store on your right and at the next roundabout take the third exit onto the A487 towards St Davids. Then take the next right-hand turn (where there is a circle of stones on one side). At the bottom of this lane (with the Morrisons Store now on your right) and after going around the right-hand bend, you will reach the main Club entrance.
