By train or bus
On Seddon Road, directly behind the Greenzone Stand, you will find two bus stops. If you are travelling by train, the closest railway station is Hamilton Station, a 23-minute walk away.
If you come out of the railway station onto Fraser Street, you will then need to take a left onto a little grassed area, which will see you onto Lake Road. Then you will need to take a right onto Commerce Street before joining onto Old Mill Street, which will then see you access another little grassed area which leads you on to Seddon Street and, therefore, right at the stadium’s entrance.
Where to park near Waikato Stadium
There is limited controlled public parking adjacent to the Waikato Stadium. Due to the large number of pedestrians in the area on game days, it is advised to avoid the area completely.
On event days, accessible parking spaces are available on Willoughby Street, less than a 1-minute walk from the stadium.
At this moment in time the Waikato Stadium does not offer tours of the stadium.
