AFCON 2025 ticket prices: the eight most expensive group stage matches

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations promises to be spectacular. Here is everything you need to know about ticket prices and how to buy them.

Initially, an exclusive 48-hour presale for AFCON 2025 tickets took place, reserved for Visa cardholders. They benefited from priority access from 13 October at 9:00am until 15 October at the same time, before the general public sale opened to all other payment methods.

How to buy a ticket for AFCON 2025

In order to offer a smooth and connected experience, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) launched the YALLA app, an essential platform for supporters. It is through this application that fans can obtain their Fan ID, which is mandatory for purchasing tickets, as well as an e-visa/AEVM to enter Morocco. Each Fan ID allows the purchase of only one ticket per match.

Once the Fan ID is received, Visa cardholders can visit the official website tickets.cafonline.com to make their purchases.

CAF had already been forced to postpone an initial attempt to open ticket sales at the end of September due to technical issues. The launch of Yalla, therefore, marks a fresh start, eagerly awaited by millions of supporters across the continent.

Prices already known for opening match and final

CAF have also revealed the first ticket prices for AFCON 2025. The opening match between Morocco and Comoros is already sold out: 500 dirhams (£40) for category 1, 300 MAD (around £5) for category 2 and 150 MAD (around £2) for category 3.

While the price of most group stage matches will range between 100 and 300 dirhams depending on the category (around £9 to £27), seven will cost slightly more than usual: Morocco's other two matches against Mali and Zambia, plus Egypt vs South Africa, Nigeria vs Tunisia, Algeria vs Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast vs Cameroon and Senegal vs DR Congo. For all these matches, fans will need to pay between 100 and 400 dirhams, depending on the category (around £9 to £5).

Knockout rounds and final pricing

Prices will range from 150 to 500 dirhams for the round of 16 (around £14 to £45), from 200 to 600 dirhams for the quarter-finals (around £15 to £50) and from 300 to 800 dirhams for the semi-finals (around £27 to £65).

As for the final, it will logically be the most expensive: 900 MAD (around £3) for category 1, 600 MAD (around £49) for category 2 and 400 MAD (around £32) for category 3.
