Man Utd fans will head to Lyon on Thursday, 10 April for the first leg of their side's quarter-final tie with Olympique Lyonnais.
The match could well be United's final one in Europe for some time so those travelling over from the UK for the clash with Lyon will be keen to ensure they make the most of their time in the French city.
For all those Man Utd fans making the short trip across the English Channel, here is your away fans' matchday guide to Lyon.

How many Man Utd fans are going to Lyon?
A change to how Man Utd distribute tickets to supporters for European away matches means that it's difficult to gauge just how many Reds will be in Lyon on matchday. The official away allocation for the match is 2,846 but now the club have stopped ticket collections in Europe, the number of United fans actually entering the stadium on Thursday night could be a lot less.
On the flip side, more than 3,000 Man Utd fans are expected to make the trip over as a) it's a very easy city to get to from the United Kingdom and b) Man Utd usually travel very well in Europe.
Therefore, we could quite easily have a situation at the Groupama Stadium whereby the away end looks half empty while thousands of Man Utd supporters pack the streets and bars of Lyon.

Where do Man Utd fans sit at the Groupama Stadium?
The Lyon away section is in the northeast corner of the stadium in the second tier. Man Utd fans will take up blocks 428-431 in the top corner of the stadium and the view from here is generally pretty good. Some fans may feel as if they are far away from the action, which is often the case in Europe, and the netting in front of the away section doesn't help matters.
Given that fans with 8 credits weren't successful for Plzen v #MUFC and the recent announcement ending Euro ticket collections, the club needs to improve transparency around European ticket distribution, similar to what they do for domestic away games.
The club should publish…

Where to eat & drink for Man Utd fans in Lyon
The city of Lyon won't be unfamiliar to some Man Utd fans as the two clubs met four times between 2004 and 2008. However, a lot has changed in the 17 years since, both on and off the field so some memories may need jogging.
There are plenty of excellent bars and restaurants in the centre of Lyon that will keep fans well-fed and watered. Our recommendations include:
- The Elephant and Castle – 16 Quai de Bondy, 69005 Lyon, France
- Berthom Old Lyon – 2 Pl. Ennemond Fousseret, 69005 Lyon, France
- The King Arthur – 10 Rue de la Monnaie, 69002 Lyon, France
Ticket collection info for Man Utd fans in Lyon
As alluded to earlier, there will be no ticket collection for Man Utd fans in Lyon, with all supporters receiving their tickets in the post before flying out.
How to get to the Groupama Stadium: Guide for Man Utd fans in Paris
The Groupama Stadium is around 10km away from the city centre, which is where the vast majority of fans will spend their day before kick-off. By car, the stadium is accessible via the N346 or D317 but the easiest and most efficient way to get there is to use the city's public transport.
Tram shuttles run through the city centre all day, every day in Lyon. Fans will need to look for any shuttle on the T3 line and then depart at the Grand Large Station. From here, the stadium is only around 700m away, and it's just a case of following the crowd until you get to the turnstiles.
