Anthony Gordon has made a flying start to life at Barcelona, quickly becoming a Camp Nou favourite after his move from the Premier League.
Now, the former Newcastle United winger has matched a record previously achieved by Lionel Messi, while supporters have already embraced their new hero.

Gordon has registered five assists in his first four LaLiga matches for Barcelona, matching the number he managed in 46 games for Newcastle last season.
That has put him in an exclusive group of just four players to record five assists across their opening four matches of a LaLiga season in the last 50 years, alongside Real Madrid legends Juanito and Michel, and Messi, who achieved the feat in 2011/12.
While nobody is suggesting Gordon is about to replicate Messi's extraordinary career at Camp Nou, the numbers underline just how quickly he has settled into Spanish football.
The England winger's popularity has also grown rapidly.
Local press described him as a “new idol at Camp Nou”, while a banner reading “Anthony Gordon is Catalan” appeared outside the stadium.
Supporters have also chanted his name during matches and given him the nickname Antoino Gordo, with Gordo meaning big in Spanish.
Gordon provided two more assists during Barcelona's 5-0 victory over Valencia. His first was a delicate chipped pass for Lamine Yamal, while his second saw him recover a loose ball in the box before setting up Fermin.

It is difficult to imagine Gordon's Barcelona start going much better.
Five assists in four games, a Camp Nou banner and fans chanting his name already makes this feel like a move that has clicked almost immediately.
Obviously, matching a Messi record does not mean Gordon is anywhere near the same level, but it is still a brilliant little milestone for a player who looks increasingly comfortable in his new surroundings.
