Barcelona have written themselves into the Spanish history books after completing a perfect home league campaign at the Camp Nou.
Hansi Flick’s side became the first team in the modern 20-club era of LaLiga to win every single home match in a season, achieving a feat not seen in Spanish football for decades.
Barcelona achieve Camp Nou history for first time in 66 years
Barcelona sealed the landmark achievement with a 3-1 victory over Real Betis in what was also Robert Lewandowski’s final appearance at Spotify Camp Nou.
Raphinha starred with two goals before Joao Cancelo added a third to ensure the Catalan side finished the campaign with a flawless home league record. Betis briefly threatened a comeback through Isco, but Barcelona ultimately saw the game out comfortably.
The achievement means Barcelona have matched a feat last accomplished by the club during the 1959/60 season under legendary manager Helenio Herrera.
Back then, the Catalans won every home league game in consecutive campaigns during an era featuring club icon Luis Suarez Miramontes.

Remarkably, no side had managed a perfect home campaign in Spain’s top division since Real Madrid did so during the 1985/86 season, before LaLiga expanded to 20 teams in 1987.
That makes Flick’s Barcelona the first club ever to achieve the feat across a full modern-format campaign.
The milestone is even more impressive considering Barcelona have spent recent seasons away from Camp Nou due to the enormous redevelopment project currently transforming the stadium into one of the biggest and most modern venues in world football.
FGG says: This underlines just how impressive Barcelona have been
Winning every home league game in modern football is an extraordinary achievement, especially in a league as competitive and tactically demanding as LaLiga has become.
What arguably makes it even more remarkable is the disruption Barcelona have dealt with in recent years because of the Camp Nou redevelopment, which forced the club away from their traditional home environment during a key transition period.
To now return and immediately produce a historic unbeaten home campaign says a lot about both the mentality of the squad and the impact Hansi Flick has had since arriving in Catalonia.
