Barcelona Stadium Tour: How to get tickets to see Camp Nou up close

Barcelona are one of the most iconic teams in world football, and Camp Nou is just as famous, etching its name into the history books of football for eternity.

Of course, the club's supporters will be desperate to visit the ground with behind-the-scenes access, but the attraction is far greater than just that. Fans from all over the world, some of which travel to Spain for this exact reason, head to Camp Nou every season for the Barcelona stadium tour.

With that in mind, here is everything you need to know about the Camp Nou tours, including how to get tickets and opening times.

Barcelona stadium tour tickets: Admission prices

The Spanish giants offer a wide range of tours at Camp Nou, many of which include a trip to their famous museum as part of the package.

Depending on which tour you ultimately choose, prices of tickets can differ significantly, with the full adult price list for Barcelona stadium tours as follows:

  • Basic ticket – €28
  • Virtual Experience – €42
  • Total Experience – €49
  • Players Experience – €99
  • Matchday tour (Olympic stadium) – €89

If you are also interested in basketball, then the ‘Players Arena Basketball Arena Tour' could be worth checking out with tickets currently priced at €45.

It is also worth noting that with renovations currently in progress at Camp Nou, all matchday tours are being held at the club's temporary home, the Olympic Stadium.

Camp Nou tour opening times

Spanish social culture is slightly different from that of the United Kingdom, and as such, attractions such as this are often open later than you might expect. Whereas most stadium tours close at around 5pm in the UK, tours of Camp Nou are run until as late as 7pm, even on Sundays.

This is true for most of the year, but, it does vary throughout the season. The exact opening times are as follows:

  • January 2–March 22: 10am–6pm Monday–Saturday, 10am–3pm on Sundays
  • March 23–October 13: 9:30am–7pm Monday–Sunday
  • October 14–December 31: 10am–6pm Monday–Saturday, 10am–3pm on Sundays

However, while Barcelona stadium tours do run until 7pm for most of the year, fans who book this time slot are restricted to just an hour and a half on their tour, so we advise you to book well in advance and as early in the day as possible for the best experience.

How to get to the Barcelona stadium

Located just over three miles away from Barcelona's city centre, the area surrounding Camp Nou is notoriously busy, meaning that traffic is a big issue. It is for that reason we advise the vast majority of supporters to travel to the ground using the city's public transport, which is fantastic – particularly the railway and metro services.

When doing so you will want to head to one of the following three metro stations:

  • Maria Cristina – 14-minute walk to the stadium
  • Badal – 17-minute walk to the stadium
  • Collblanc – 18-minute walk to the stadium

Unlike Britain, these services are extremely reliable, but is worth noting that on matchday public transport will of course be busier than usual, so always allow extra time for your journey.

What is there to see during a tour of Camp Nou?

One of the biggest attractions of all the various Barcelona stadium tours is the club's museum. This is included in every package and grants supporters access to what Barcelona describe as a “100% interactive museum where you can travel through Barça’s past, present, and future via historic moments, legendary players and the triumphs that are part of our collective imagination.”

While the museum is included in every package, other attractions such as the Robokeeper, exclusive access to first-team areas and private sports facilities can only be attained by purchasing tickets to the more expensive Barcelona stadium tours.

Due to the renovations currently underway at Camp Nou, some sections of the ground may be temporarily closed at various stages until its completion. Therefore, we recommend consulting the club's official website when booking to confirm which facilities are also going to be included in the tour, such as changing rooms and pitchside areas for example.

Regardless of which tour you ultimately decide is for you, we hope you have a fantastic time on your Camp Nou tour.
