Birmingham City have announced the official artichect company for their new training centre at the proposed Sports Quarter.
The Second City club revealed designs for a brand-new 62,000-seater stadium in November, dubbed ‘The Birmingham City Powerhouse'.
Focusing on the here and now, Chris Davies's men are going through a tricky spell in the Championship, failing to win any of their last six matches.
That being said, a Birmingham side bruised by injuries and suspensions battled to a 1-1 draw against Southampton on Monday night.
Summer arrival Phil Neumann opened the scoring at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park, before former Aston Villa man Cameron Archer equalised controversially for the Saints.
Looking to commence the new calendar year on a positive footing, Birmingham travel to in-form Watford in the Championship on January 1.

Birmingham announce architect for new training centre
Whilst festive football dominates the conversation at the moment, Birmingham have provided a major update on their Sports Quarter project.
The Championship club have announced that architect company Populous have been awarded the responsibility of designing the club's new training centre.
The world-class facility will bring the training needs of the men's, women's and academy sides onto a single campus.
The club are currently spilt on the training front, with Davies's troops based at the Elite Performance and Innovation Centre (EPIC) in Henley-in-Arden.
Formerly the training base of the men's first team, the women's and academy sides are still training at Wast Hills in South Birmingham.
Populous possess serious pedigree
Over the past four decades, Populous have had their fingerprints over some of the most impressive venue designs on the planet.
The American company have played major parts in drawing up plans for arenas such as Wembley Stadium and the Aviva Stadium.
The group have also worked on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as well as the infamous Sphere in Las Vegas.
Additionally, Populous were recently announced the official architect for the proposed new home of Leyton Orient in London.
FGG says: World-class operators employed
Football fans may question Birmingham's ability to fill 62,000 seats, but the club's Sports Quarter team is looking world class and cannot be sniffed at by jealous rivals.
Populous are a top-level architect that will bring Blues' new training centre in line with the best sporting facilities on the globe.
This will no doubt attract exceptional talent to the Second City club, especially in the academy teams where development is so important.
