Chelsea fans unveiled a fresh banner at Stamford Bridge in support of new manager Xabi Alonso ahead of the Spaniard's first Premier League game in charge at the club's home ground.
Alonso was appointed during the summer with the ambition of guiding Chelsea back towards the upper places in the table, and the former Liverpool midfielder has certainly got off to an exciting start.

Ahead of Chelsea's first Premier League home game of the season, supporters unveiled a new banner in support of their recently appointed manager.
The banner was unveiled before kick-off as the players walked out of the tunnel, reading:
“Not too Xabi,
“Alonso is a blue”
The new banner is an early show of support from the Chelsea supporters towards the manager, who has got off to a flying start to life at Stamford Bridge.
After sealing a thrilling 3-2 victory at Craven Cottage against rivals Fulham in the first competitive match of the season, Alonso's side followed up with a dominant 2-0 win against Luton Town at Stamford Bridge in the EFL Cup.
Chelsea's brilliance in front of goal continued following the show of support at the beginning of the game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, with the Blues eventually running out 4-3 winners.
Back-to-back wins and impressive displays, particularly going forward, have left many Chelsea fans hoping that Alonso will prove to be the man that leads the Blues back to the peak of the Premier League this season.
