Chelsea announced earlier this week that general admission prices for season and match tickets will remain unchanged for the 2026/27 season.
Adult (non-concession) season tickets will remain in the £700-£1,095 price range, while adult member match tickets for the most expensive Category AA fixtures will stay at the range of £27-£28, with seats in non-restricted view sections starting at £52.
The Chelsea Supporters' Trust have since issued a statement in response to the club's ticketing decision.
Positive response to Chelsea's ticket decision
The Chelsea Supporters' Trust issued a positive statement in response to the decision to freeze all men's first team general admission season and match-by-match ticket prices for the 2026/27 season.
The Trust said: “This is a significant and positive decision. Following a challenging season on and off the pitch, freezing general admission prices is a sensible and welcome step that will provide certainty for match-going supporters ahead of the season ticket renewal window.”
“The CST has consistently made clear to the club that affordability must remain central to any ticketing policy. We therefore appreciate that the club has listened to the clear representations made by the Chelsea Supporters' Trust and the Fan Advisory Board before reaching this decision.”
While the Trust welcomed the price freeze, they went on to say that they will continue to engage with the club about the wider changes to the ticketing policy for the 2026/27 season.

This comes after the club announced a change to the club's ticketing policy in May, which included the introduction of ID verification for all supporters over the age of 16 purchasing match tickets and a new balloting system, or “ticket application window”, for ticket sales to club members.
The Chelsea Supporters' Trust labelled these changes as “tone deaf”, and they reiterated in their statement that their focus remains on “ensuring that any changes to ticket access, loyalty, away ticketing, ticket utilisation and the matchday experience are fair, transparent and in the best interests of Chelsea supporters.”
FGG Says: Positive news but more still to be done
Chelsea fans will certainly welcome the news of ticket prices being frozen for the 2026/27 season, but the club's hierarchy still have plenty more to do to ensure the supporters are on their side.
The change in the club's ticketing policy remains a controversial point, with many hoping that further changes to this policy may be made in the future.
