Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park has been one of the most used stadiums at Euro 2024 and it is set to stage its final match on Wednesday night when England face the Netherlands for a place in the final on Sunday.
Hundreds of thousands of fans from across Europe have flocked to Dortmund over the past month and the most popular tourist attraction has proven to be the stadium itself. If you're in Dortmund over the next couple of days and are hoping to embark on a Dortmund stadium tour, then here is everything you need to know.
Dortmund stadium tour during Euro 2024 – what's involved
Due to the popularity of the stadium, Borussia Dortmund stadium tours are conducted all year round and they have continued to welcome guests throughout Euro 2024. In many ways, the tour follows the same format as it would do under normal circumstances just with a few interesting caveats related to Euro 2024 that will be explained on the tour.
The stadium tour, which can be delivered in German or English, provides fans with a 60-minute walk around the stadium where fans will learn all about the history of the club. Fans will visit the following areas throughout the tour:
- The mixed zone
- The players' changing room
- The tunnel
- The dugout
- A walk around the Yellow Wall
At the end of the tour, fans will then be able to spend half an hour in the Borusseum – the club's official museum. Here, fans can learn more about the history of the club and get a glimpse of all the trophies they have won over the years, including the Champions League trophy.

Alternative stadium tour
If fans aren't bothered about having a guide then Borussia Dortmund offer a walking tour where fans are effectively given free rein to explore the stadium at their own pace within a designated route. Fans have the option to bring a smartphone and headphones as they will be able to scan QR codes at various points throughout the walking tour to enrich their knowledge.
The maximum length of stay on the walking tour is 60 minutes.
Tour prices
Unsurprisingly, the cost of the stadium tour at Borussia Dortmund is very fairly priced in line with their match ticket price. For the main tour, each ticket costs €12 per person. There will be a maximum of 20 people on each tour to ensure each guest gets a personal and unforgettable experience.
For the walking tour, each ticket costs €12 per person.
Tour availability
As things stand, no tickets are left for Dortmund stadium tours for the remainder of the tournament. England fans and Netherlands fans have been quick to snap up tickets for when they are in Dortmund for the semi-finals. There are also no walking tour tickets available until after the tournament is finished.
One alternative for fans is to purchase tickets to visit the Borusseum. Tickets for this experience cost €7 per person and there is currently availability for the remaining days of Euro 2024. The Borusseum's opening hours are as follows:
