Elland Road expansion update as piling continues and North Stand ticket office reaches completion

New footage from Elland Road shows the stadium expansion continuing to take shape, with piling still the main focus of work on site.

The latest update also reveals progress elsewhere around the ground, including the completion of the North Stand ticket office and car park.

Drone footage of Elland Road's redevelopment project, filmed on September 9th, shows continued heavy piling activity, with a significant number of rebar piles still waiting to be installed as work pushes forward on the expansion.

Away from the main construction zone, the North Stand ticket office and car park are now complete, while work continues on the temporary hospitality suite.

The pitchside dugouts also appear finished, with their seating covers now installed.

The site team is continuing to separate materials such as aluminium and steel for recycling, while LED pitch lighting remains in use to help maintain the playing surface during the construction work.

There may not be a huge visual transformation at Elland Road just yet, but the continued piling is an important part of laying the foundations for what comes next.

With more of the supporting infrastructure around the stadium now complete, the project is gradually moving forward.

The big change will come when the steelwork begins to rise above ground, but for now, this latest footage shows that work remains active across the site.
