The redevelopment of Elland Road is continuing to gather pace, with fresh drone footage providing Leeds United supporters with another look at progress around the stadium.
The latest update shows important structural and groundwork taking place as the club's ambitious expansion project begins to take shape.
Elland Road footage gives Leeds fans fresh update
Drone footage captured on July 7th has shown extensive work continuing around Elland Road, with much of the current activity focused on piling and foundation works.
Drilling machinery can be seen operating across the construction site, while piling tubes are being installed to create the structural foundations required for the next phases of the redevelopment.
Although much of this work will eventually be hidden beneath the finished development, it represents an important stage as the project moves from initial site preparation towards more visible construction.
Activity is also continuing around the new hospitality building, with concrete mixers, shuttering and other construction equipment visible across the site.
Elsewhere, heavy machinery is continuing to clear rubble and prepare further areas of land for development, underlining the scale of work currently taking place around the stadium.
The latest footage also offers views across the existing ground, including the pitch and dugout areas, while the exterior of the Main Stand appears to have undergone cleaning work during the off-season.
FGG says: Elland Road redevelopment takes shape ahead of new season
The big, eye‑catching changes at Elland Road might still be a little way off, but the groundwork happening now is absolutely vital. These piling and foundation works are what will eventually support the club’s long‑term vision for a transformed home.
After years of talking, planning and waiting, supporters are finally seeing real progress on the ground. And from here, things should only get more noticeable as the redevelopment moves into its major structural stages.
