The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to be the most expensive to date, with ticket prices reaching sky-high levels, but England fans have received a rare financial boost ahead of the competition.
England are set to travel to MetLife Stadium, which will be known as the New York New Jersey Stadium for the duration of the tournament, for their group-stage clash with Panama on June 23, and fans had been expecting to pay $80 (£60) for shuttle transport to and from the venue.
However, Three Lions fans have been handed a welcome boost ahead of the tournament as the official New York New Jersey Stadium Shuttle slashed its round-trip price to just $20 (£15).
Shuttle transport provided for travelling fans
Transportation planners are preparing for thousands of visitors who will not be able to drive and park personal cars at the New York New Jersey Stadium when matches are hosted throughout the World Cup.
One of the planned options for supporters is the shuttle transport, which will ferry fans straight to and back from the stadium on matchdays.
The shuttle will depart from the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine Park and Ride along Route 3 near Clifton.

Fans will be able to pick their match date and indicate how many shuttle seats they need, as well as if they will be parking at the Clifton lot, via an online booking system, while all riders will require valid match tickets to ride the shuttle.
Alongside the shuttle, fans also have the option of NJ Transit trains, rideshare pickups, limited parking at American Dream or designated drop-off zones near the pedestrian bridge that leads directly to the New York New Jersey Stadium.
By offering these options, officials are hoping to reduce traffic jams while monitoring the amount of people flowing to and from matches.
FGG Says: Decide your transport in advance
The World Cup is expected to bring in plenty of traffic, with thousands of fans set to attend the sporting event, so fans are advised to make their transport decisions and plan ahead with plenty of time in advance.
