Everton recorded a stunning 3-0 win against Chelsea at their home ground the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the Premier League on March 21, 2026.

Alongside taking all three points, the Toffees also broke their attendance record at their new home stadium.

The Everton support certainly picked the ideal day to turn up in record numbers, with the Toffees producing a sensational display and result that significantly boosts David Moyes' side's chances of securing European qualification.

A brace from Beto and a wondergoal from Iliman Ndiaye sealed the win, lifting Everton to eighth in the standings with 46 points, just three behind their fifth-placed rivals Liverpool in the final Champions League place.

Everton fans turned up in record-breaking numbers on Saturday evening, with 52,547 supporters in attendance for the eventual victory over Liam Rosenior's Chelsea.

The previous record came on January 4, 2026, when a reported 52,514 fans travelled to the Hill Dickinson Stadium to watch Everton take on Brentford in the Premier League.

Toffees fans were not so fortunate on that day as the home side disappointingly lost 4-2 to the Bees, and Everton will certainly be pleased that the new attendance record was set on the day of a victory for the hosts.

Although the new record marks another positive milestone since the move to the Hill Dickinson, it remains a distance from the remarkable attendance record set at their iconic previous home, Goodison Park.

Goodison Park's attendance record came during the Merseyside derby in September 1948, when 78,299 fans turned up to watch Everton take on city rivals Liverpool.

FGG Says:

Everton are enjoying a stunning first season since moving to the Hill Dickinson last summer, with the Toffees currently battling to secure European qualification through the Premier League.

Although they have underwhelmed at home at times, their fortunes at the Hill Dickinson appear to be improving in recent weeks, and a new attendance record only reinforces that the club is moving in the right direction.
