Everton are expected to officially announce an increase in the season-ticket renewal prices at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Toffees are just over two months away from marking the completion of their first full season since making the move from Goodison Park to Hill Dickinson, and it has thus far proven to be a success both on and off the pitch.

Everton are eighth in the Premier League standings, at the time of writing, with the chance of securing European football next term, while the new stadium has been a major money-maker for the club off the pitch, with Everton's finances strengthened since the opening of the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Club owners, the Friedkin Group, have been able to generate significant revenue from match-going supporters, while running events such as the screening of away fixtures has also driven further income for the Toffees.

However, the owners are now expected to squeeze further earnings by increasing the price of season-ticket renewals ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Clubs throughout the Premier League have already announced an increase in the cost of season ticket prices, such as Manchester United confirming that prices at Old Trafford will rise by five per cent next season.

Everton are now set to follow suit, with one club insider sharing that a confirmation of the increase at the Hill Dickinson is expected in the renewal announcement.

Speaking to ‘A View From The Bullens', the insider said that with prices rising across the board in the Premier League, the general expectation is that Everton will similarly increase their season ticket prices ahead of the new season.

He went on to say that clubs do look around the league to see what other teams are doing, and with several already confirming their price increases, this has driven others to follow suit.

The exact amount by which the season-ticket prices will rise remains unclear, with the club supposedly undergoing the process of discussing what percentage to raise the cost by.

FGG Says: Money means more than ever in football

It has become increasingly clear in the modern era of the Premier League, and football as a whole, that money means more than anything else in the sport.

What was once the working man's game has now largely become an opportunity for already-rich owners to squeeze every bit of profit out of supporters, with season-ticket price rises one of many avenues to extract as much money as possible.

In Everton's case, while their new stadium has overall been a success, supporters have been frustrated by transport links to the ground, yet rather than waiting to resolve the problem, the club have increased ticket prices at the very first opportunity.
