Everton new stadium: Details of second test event at Bramley-Moore Dock

Everton has confirmed the details of the second test event at Bramley-Moore Dock as the new stadium nears its opening.

Everton has announced the date for its second stadium test event, allowing fans to experience Bramley-Moore Dock on Sunday, 23 March. Following a successful inaugural event that attracted over 10,000 attendees for a historic Under-18s friendly, the club is gearing up for another exciting occasion.

This upcoming test event will feature a friendly match involving Everton's Under-21s during the day. A minimum of 25,000 supporters are expected to attend the 2pm kickoff.

Bramley-Moore Dock second test event

Thousands of fans have already secured tickets for the upcoming second test event through a ballot conducted in January. With the date officially confirmed, shareholders, Season Ticket Members, Hospitality Members, and members of the 2025/26 Premium Bars, Restaurants, and Experiences will have an additional opportunity to purchase tickets starting at 10 am on Monday, 3 March.

To ensure fairness and allow all Season Ticket Members a chance to experience a test event, those who attended the first Everton Stadium test event will not be eligible to buy tickets during this priority window.

Following this initial sale, subject to availability, tickets for the second test event will be made available to Official Members and attendees of the first test event starting at 10 am on Thursday, 6 March.

Tickets will be issued digitally and are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions (under-18s and seniors aged 65 and over). They will be allocated in designated areas across the North, East, South, and West Stands. Eligible supporters will have the option to select their preferred stand and tier, with tickets allocated automatically based on the best available seats in that area at the time of purchase.

This second event will continue to test the Liverpool City Council parking zone, which has again called out for more local firms to take part. The next major step for Everton is to get their application for this second event approved ahead of a likely near-full-capacity third event at the new stadium.

FGG says: one down, two to go

After a first test event in February, a second event so quickly is ideal. After this event, assuming all goes well, Everton have just one more event to go before they can claim all the licences to use the stadium at full capacity. This is another big chance for Everton fans to get a feel for the new stadium, we just hope the food pricing is a little better this time.
