Everton traders are being invited to set up stalls outside Hill Dickinson Stadium ahead of the Toffees' second season at their new home ground.

Hat, scarf, programme and badge sellers have been invited to set up around Bramley-Moore Dock on matchdays throughout the 2026/27 Premier League season.

Liverpool Council exploring arrangements for matchday traders

Liverpool Council are seeking expressions of interest from traders wishing to operate within a designated street trading area surrounding the Hill Dickinson Stadium around Bramley-Moore Dock.

Four street stalls from Walton Lane, Goodison Road and Gwladys Street, surrounding former stadium Goodison Park, had previously been invited to apply for the rights to continue trading around the club's new home back in November 2024.

The council are now exploring potential arrangements to allow for further street trading associated with matchdays and other events.

Traders are currently prohibited from operating on or within 10 metres of the perimeter roads surrounding Bramley-Moore Dock unless they are in possession of a consent issued by Liverpool Council to allow for trading in the area.

As part of the process, officials are now seeking information from businesses that would be interested in setting up in the proposed designated area, though it has been warned that submission of interest does not guarantee the allocation of consent.

The council are yet to announce the allocation process for any available trading locations, with the council hoping the information obtained from this process will assist in assessing demand and helping develop a fair process for the allocation of future trading opportunities.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted via email by 12pm on Friday September 18 for the attention of Regulatory Compliance Officer at [email protected].

Alternatively, a letter should be posted to Regulatory Compliance Officer, Licensing and Public Protection, Liverpool City Council, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH.

Any and all correspondence should be marked as ‘Express of Interest' and include the name of the application.

FGG Says: Help to improve the matchday experience

The addition of more sellers and traders around the Hill Dickinson Stadium will only help to improve the matchday experience for Everton supporters, making this a potentially superb idea if it goes through.
