Greece vs England tickets – sale dates

The first phase of ticket sales for this Nations League clash began on 17 October and closed on 21 October.

Just over 10,000 members of the England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) applied and registered their interest in this game, despite the allocation being only 3,500. As a result, the cut-off point to guarantee a ticket for the match at the Olympic Stadium in Athens was fans with 25 ‘active caps’.

A mini-ballot was then allocated to fans with 24 caps. They had 70% of the ticket share, with the other 30% kept for other members as part of their group. The maximum number of tickets in group bookings for England away matches is four.

You can read more about the England Supporters Travel Club, how to join, and the caps system here.

The second phase of the sales for England vs Greece tickets started on 23 October, and ended when the away allocation was sold out to ESTC members. This has now completely sold out, with the away contingent set to be located in the south-west corner of the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

“There’s also the Fans’ Embassy helpline which will be operating 24/7 before and after the game on +44 7956 121314. You can also follow and contact them on Facebook or X via @WeAreFreeLions.

Greece vs England – How to get to the Olympic Stadium, Athens

The match kicks off at the Olympic Stadium, Athens, at 19:45pm (BST), with the ground opening three hours before. Getting a taxi to the stadium is not advisable due to the volume of traffic, with public transport the most convenient way to get to the venue.

The FSA has advised travelling supporters to take Metro Line 1 (green line) towards Irini, which is the closest station to the Olympic Stadium. When the train arrives at Irini, it will take England fans around 20 minutes to get to the away section.

After the match, England supporters will be kept in the ground for up to 30 minutes. Metros will run until 01:30 local time, with the game set to finish between 23:30-00:00, so public transport will still be available when the Three Lions fans are released from the stadium.
