Leeds United's Elland Road redevelopment is continuing to progress, although major demolition work has now paused with the new season approaching.
Fresh footage from around the stadium shows the latest groundworks and preparations being made to ensure the site can operate safely alongside matchdays.
Elland Road footage shows how expansion project is progressing
The latest update, filmed on August 12th, shows workers continuing with the groundwork around the main development area, with the main fencing now completed and temporary barriers still being used around the site.
A large amount of waste has been cleared, while sections of the area have been freshly tarmaced to provide better access for construction machinery.
Work is also continuing on the temporary hospitality suite, with finishing touches including window sealing and guttering taking place.
Elsewhere, some of the racing-style seats around the dugout area have been temporarily removed, seemingly to allow electrical work to be carried out underneath.
Artists are also continuing work on the mural near the subway and pub, with the latest additions including more of the ‘champions' section.
However, the major demolition phase has paused for now as Leeds prepare to begin the 2026/27 campaign, with Elland Road set to host Brentford on August 30th, allowing the ground to remain fully operational for supporters.

The latest footage may not show dramatic changes to the stadium itself, but that does not mean work has completely stopped.
Much of the current focus is on preparing the site and ensuring everything works around the demands of a new football season.
With the major demolition work temporarily paused, the coming months should provide a clearer picture of how quickly the redevelopment can progress once construction activity ramps up again.
