Adults living in selected Manchester City Council wards surrounding the Etihad Stadium will be able to apply for discounted tickets for every Premier League home match during the 2026-27 season, as well as selected domestic cup and European fixtures.
Between 100 and 500 tickets will be reserved for the initiative at each home match, with adult tickets priced at £10, concession tickets costing £7.50 and under-18 tickets available for £5.
Residents in Ancoats & Beswick, Clayton & Openshaw, Gorton & Abbey Hey, Ardwick and Miles Platting & Newton Heath will need to provide proof of their address when applying.

The announcement comes after City confirmed ticket prices will remain frozen for the third consecutive season, while a new bracket of adult tickets starting from £25 will also be introduced for some midweek Premier League fixtures.
The club’s expanded North Stand, which has been renamed the Pep Guardiola Stand, opened fully for the final game of the 2025-26 season against Aston Villa, where a record Etihad attendance of 60,332 watched Guardiola’s final match in charge.
New manager Enzo Maresca will take charge for the first time in the Community Shield against Arsenal on 16 August, before City begin their Premier League home campaign against Bournemouth one week later.
FGG says: A positive move to keep Manchester City connected with the community
With ticket prices continuing to be a major talking point across football, City’s decision to reserve discounted tickets for local residents is a welcome step forwards.
The initiative should help strengthen the connection between the club and the communities surrounding the Etihad Stadium while giving more supporters the chance to experience Premier League football.
