The CBS Arena is one of the most accessible stadiums in the Midlands, with strong transport links by road, rail and bus.

Whether you’re travelling locally or from further afield, there are plenty of straightforward options to get you to the ground in time for kick-off.

FootballGroundGuide provides a complete guide to the best ways to get to the home of Coventry City in 2026.

Getting to the CBS Arena by Car

The CBS Arena is conveniently located just off Junction 3 of the M6 motorway, making it one of the easier grounds to reach by road.

From the M6, simply exit at Junction 3 and follow the signs for the stadium. The ground is less than a mile away (around 800 yards), meaning you’ll be parked up shortly after leaving the motorway.

As with most stadiums, traffic can build up on matchdays, so it’s advisable to allow extra time for your journey, especially closer to kick-off.

Car Parking at the CBS Arena

There are four on-site car parks at the CBS Arena, offering around 2,200 spaces in total.

Parking is now managed using ANPR (automatic number plate recognition), and supporters are encouraged to pre-book spaces in advance, as availability and pricing can vary depending on the fixture.

Car Park C is the closest option to the South Stand, making it particularly convenient for away supporters.

Getting to the CBS Arena by Train

For most fans, travelling by train is the easiest and most efficient way to reach the stadium.

Coventry Arena station is the closest stop, located just a five-minute walk from the ground.

Regular services run between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton, with additional trains often scheduled before and after matches to handle increased demand.

If you're travelling from further afield, you may need to connect via Coventry or Nuneaton before heading to Coventry Arena station.

Getting to the CBS Arena by Bus

Bus services also provide a reliable option for reaching the stadium.

Stagecoach service 148 and National Express service 20 both run frequently between Coventry city centre and the area around the CBS Arena, making them a convenient choice for fans staying locally.

Journey times are typically short, and services run regularly throughout the day.

Getting to the CBS Arena from the Airport

The CBS Arena is well connected to nearby airports, particularly Birmingham International.

From Birmingham International Airport

Train: Take a direct train to Coventry Arena (or via Coventry), with a straightforward connection to the stadium.
Taxi: Around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Manchester Airport

Train: Travel to Nuneaton, then connect via train or bus to the stadium.
Taxi: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

FGG Verdict: What is the best way to get to the CBS Arena?

For most supporters, the train is the standout option.

With Coventry Arena station just a five-minute walk from the ground, it offers a quick, hassle-free route that avoids matchday traffic and parking concerns.

Driving is still a viable choice thanks to the stadium’s proximity to the M6, but pre-booking parking is essential.
