Everton fans were given an unfortunate reminder of their summer transfer disappointment during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
Richarlison's face appeared on an advertising board at Hill Dickinson Stadium despite the club failing to bring the popular former striker back to Merseyside.

Richarlison was spotted on one of the advertising boards during the Toffees' first home game since the transfer window closed, with the Tottenham Hotspur forward appearing alongside the words “He's Brazilian”.
The 29-year-old was heavily linked with a return to Everton this summer, with the Toffees understood to have been interested in bringing him back after his four-year spell at the club.
However, a deal ultimately failed to materialise, with Richarlison left looking at options away from the Premier League instead.
Nevertheless, the timing was unfortunate for Everton supporters.
David Moyes finished the window without adding another natural centre-forward, leaving Thierno Barry as his only recognised No.9, also leading to statements from leading fan groups and supporters protesting inside the ground.
Everton had also been linked with Folarin Balogun, but that move fell through at the eleventh hour, while further attacking options remain an obvious area for Moyes to address when the transfer window reopens in January.
Richarlison's future at Tottenham could therefore remain one to watch, particularly if he is still available when Everton return to the market.

This really is a case of rubbing salt into the wounds.
Seeing Richarlison's face around the stadium in the first game after Everton failed to sign a striker would have been pretty amusing if the club had actually solved the problem elsewhere.
Instead, Moyes has been left with Barry as his only natural No.9, so the Brazilian's face suddenly appearing on an advertising board could hardly have come at a worse time for supporters.
