Wrexham AFC's impressive Kop Stand redevelopment continues to gather pace ahead of the new season.
Fresh pictures from the Racecourse Ground has now revealed another major milestone, with the upper terracing becoming clearly visible as construction progresses.
Upper terracing now visible as new Kop Stand work continues
New drone footage from July 15th has provided Wrexham supporters with another close-up look at the Racecourse Ground redevelopment, highlighting the latest progress on the new Kop Stand.
One of the biggest changes since the previous update is the completion of much of the upper-tier terracing, with the shape of the new stand becoming increasingly recognisable.
Work is also continuing on the lower level, where construction crews have been installing new structural components using a crane.
The footage also explains the role of the temporary orange steelwork visible across the site. Unlike the permanent white structural sections of the stand, these supports are being used to hold roof beams and other elements in place during construction before being removed later in the build.
Elsewhere, rebar installation continues across parts of the project, forming the steel reinforcement that will strengthen the concrete floors once they are poured.
The update also addresses questions raised by supporters about the distance between the new stand and the pitch.
The positioning is designed to comply with UEFA Category 4 stadium regulations, which require sufficient space between the touchline and the front row to allow the venue to host major international fixtures.
The video concludes with a sweeping view across the Racecourse Ground, where the playing surface remains in excellent condition despite the extensive redevelopment taking place behind one goal.
FGG says: Another key milestone for Wrexham and the Kop
With the upper terracing now clearly visible, Wrexham supporters can finally get a much better sense of how the new Kop Stand will look once complete. It's another significant milestone in one of the most high-profile stadium projects currently underway in British football.
The structural work still has some way to go, but every update makes the finished product easier to picture. By the time the temporary supports disappear and the roof begins to take shape, the Racecourse Ground will look dramatically different from the stadium fans have known for decades.
