Lazio supporters have made their feelings towards president Claudio Lotito clear once again, but their backing for the team remains unwavering.

The travelling support produced a powerful display during their 2-1 win over Udinese as the Stadio Olimpico boycott continues.

Lazio fans continue to make their feelings about Claudio Lotito clear

Lazio's away section in Udine was packed with supporters who unveiled a simple but powerful message: “In your defence as long as my heart beats.”

The display comes during an ongoing protest against Lotito, with Lazio supporters refusing to buy season tickets for the 2026/27 campaign in opposition to the club's president.

That has left the Stadio Olimpico looking strikingly empty for home fixtures, including the recent visit of Genoa, after an overwhelming majority of supporters opted not to renew their season tickets.

Away from Rome, however, the message from the Laziali has been very different.

Large numbers have continued to follow Lazio on the road, demonstrating that their protest is directed at the club's management rather than the players or the famous Biancocelesti shirt.

The scenes in Udine underlined that distinction, with supporters making the journey and creating an atmosphere despite their decision to stay away from the Olimpico.

FGG says: Lazio fans support the players despite their anger

There is something quite powerful about this.

Lazio supporters are making their dissatisfaction with Lotito very clear at home, but they are still turning up in numbers when the team needs them away from Rome.

That is a pretty strong message in itself – whatever happens with the boycott, the passion for Lazio clearly remains untouched.
