What is there to see on the Man City stadium tour?
Each tour offers guests something different. Here is a quick rundown to help you decide which tour is best for you.
The Manchester City Stadium Tour
This is the classic stadium tour that most fans will choose to do. Fans get to visit the home team dressing room and experience what it's like for the players via an immersive, audio-visual show. They can also walk down the famous glass tunnel and go pitch-side to visit the dugouts. The highlight of the tour is arguably the mock press room where visitors can field questions with a virtual Pep Guardiola.
The Manchester City Stadium and City Football Academy Tour
This tour is the same as the classic stadium tour, except fans also get the opportunity to get on a golf buggy and head over to the academy building across the road. This tour gives the fans the opportunity to look at the journey young players go on from joining the academy to becoming a first-team player.
VIP Stadium Tour
The VIP Tour is a two-hour tour where each area of the stadium is explained in more depth. Fans on this tour are also taken to areas of the Etihad Stadium that are not visited on the standard tour. To ensure fans have a VIP experience, group sizes are kept small and each person is given a complimentary souvenir guidebook and a glass of prosecco or orange juice.
Walk with a Legend Tour
This is a Man City stadium tour led by a club legend. The legend will take fans on a tour around the Etihad while opening up about stories from their playing days. The tour also includes a drinks reception with the legend where fans can ask them questions about their playing days and get a signed photograph.
Educational Stadium Tour
These tours are aimed at students of all ages with each one designed specifically for the age of the guests in question. These tours have been developed alongside industry experts and are available to Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, A-Level and University students. These tours can only be booked during UK term time.
