New Barcelona transport service launched in fresh boost for fans and local Camp Nou residents

Barcelona residents are set to benefit from a new matchday bus service designed to maintain public transport links around the Camp Nou.

The service will operate throughout Barcelona matches during the 2026/27 season, helping residents navigate the traffic restrictions surrounding the stadium.

Camp Nou boost with new bus service revealed for 2026/27

A new special bus service will operate around the Camp Nou on Barcelona matchdays, providing an alternative transport option for residents in the Les Corts district, per the city council.

The circular route will cover roughly six kilometres, connecting key areas affected by the traffic restrictions introduced around matches.

It will also link residents with the existing bus network and maintain access between different parts of the district.

The route will begin near the Ernest Lluch interchange on Carrer del Camí de Torre Melina before travelling through Carretera de Collblanc, Carrer del Cardenal Reig, Avinguda de Sant Ramon Nonat, Avinguda de Madrid, Gran Via de Carles III, Avinguda Diagonal, Avinguda del Doctor Marañón and Avinguda de Xile.

The service will begin two hours before kick-off, operate throughout the match and continue for up to 90 minutes after the final whistle.

Buses are expected to run approximately every 15 minutes, with the full circular journey taking around 32 minutes, although timings could change depending on matchday traffic.

There will also be a change to the route taken by team coaches. From the start of the season, coaches will enter the stadium through Access X on Travessera de les Corts, travelling against the normal flow of traffic instead of using Carrer d'Arizala.

The changes are designed to reduce disruption for local residents and will come into effect from Barcelona's first league match at the renovated Camp Nou against Levante on August 27th.
