Wrexham's Kop Stand redevelopment is continuing to gather pace, with the latest drone footage revealing significant changes in just a few days.

The latest update shows further progress on the steel framework, roof structure and concrete terracing as the Racecourse Ground moves towards an increased capacity of more than 18,000.

Kop Stand progress accelerates as fresh Racecourse Ground footage emerges

Construction work, overseen by McLaren Construction Group, has advanced across several areas of the Kop since the last visit.

Scaffolding is now installed up to the top of the structure, with extensive activity also visible around the roof framework, protective netting and rope-access sections.

There has been further progress on the steel structure, with additional framework sections now in place across the stand as the overall shape of the redevelopment becomes increasingly recognisable.

One of the most noticeable developments has been the installation of concrete terracing across the lower tier, with several additional sections completed since the previous update.

Work is also continuing on the finishing elements, with insulation installation underway and areas where concrete was previously poured now capped off.

This latest footage highlights how quickly the appearance of the Kop Stand is changing as the various construction phases progress.

The latest footage offers another encouraging glimpse of the transformation taking place at the Racecourse Ground, with the progress on the terracing and steel framework particularly noticeable.

The installation of the roof structure and scaffolding also suggests the project is moving through another important stage.

With the redevelopment set to take Wrexham's ground beyond 18,000 capacity, the Kop is gradually becoming a visible symbol of the club's continued ambitions.
