Luton Town supporters have been given another glimpse into the future of Power Court after fresh footage revealed notable progress taking place at the club's new stadium site.
While much of the early work has focused on ground preparation and infrastructure below the surface, the latest update appears to show some of the clearest signs yet of the venue beginning to physically take shape.
Stand foundations take shape at Luton Town's Power Court stadium site
New drone footage from Wandering Northerner has provided a detailed aerial look at ongoing construction work at the Power Court development, highlighting growing activity around key sections of their new home, which they'll move into in 2028.
The latest update shows foundation work progressing while early signs of two stadium stands are beginning to emerge across the site.
Attention in the footage focuses particularly on the South Stand area, which will eventually feature one of the stadium's key public spaces. Major public realms are expected to be located around the south-east and west entrances, with a larger open area planned alongside the West Stand.
The North Stand section also offers a clearer picture of future plans.
Unlike other areas of the stadium, the stand will not include commercial frontage due to its position backing onto the busway. Instead, the area is expected to house maintenance facilities, while a basement car park is planned in the north-west corner beneath a future music venue development.
The footage also highlights specialist equipment on site, including a large yellow pile testing rig currently being used during groundwork operations, similar to that used in Wrexham's Kop Stand redevelopment project.
Pile testing plays a major role in major construction projects, helping engineers assess and confirm the strength and stability of foundations before structural work accelerates.
FGG says: Luton fans can see first real signs of progress
Early‑stage stadium work like this one can often feel slow, especially when so much of it happens below ground and out of sight, but this latest footage feels like a genuine shift.
For Luton supporters who’ve spent years hearing about moving away from Kenilworth Road, seeing the first stand structures rise and the foundations clearly taking shape is probably the moment the project starts to feel real.
There is still a long way to go, of course, but the emergence of visible structure marks the first major milestone since work began.
