Progress on the long-awaited stadium upgrades at the home of Premier League side Crystal Palace appears to be slower than expected.
And this latest update will do little to ease growing frustration among supporters.
Selhurst Park Main Stand redevelopment update emerges
Eagles fans have been given a fresh update on the redevelopment of the Main Stand at Selhurst Park, but visible progress remains limited.
Despite early enabling works and the relocation of club offices to facilitate construction, there has been little noticeable movement on site in recent months.
The Athletic recently revealed that the project is “not quite as advanced as it was hoped it would be at this point.”
However, key groundwork behind the scenes has been completed.
Properties on Wooderson Close, which are required for the expansion, have now been purchased and boarded up, clearing a major hurdle for the project.
Some logistical issues are still being resolved, but the club’s plan remains to begin demolition work at the end of the current season.
Temporary hospitality facilities are also expected to be installed in the stadium car park during the build.

FGG says: Familiar frustration as project continues to crawl forward
This will feel all too familiar for Palace fans.
The Selhurst Park redevelopment has long promised transformation, but progress has consistently felt slow and stop-start.
While it’s encouraging that key steps like land acquisition are now complete, the lack of visible construction naturally raises questions.
If demolition does begin as planned this summer, it could finally mark the turning point the project has needed for years.
But until then, this remains another update that feels more about preparation than real progress, and patience is understandably wearing thin.
