On Saturday, 1 August, Manchester United will continue their pre-season preparations when they take on Atletico Madrid at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm.
For many Manchester United supporters, the city and stadium bring back special memories, as it was here that the club won the Europa League back in 2017, their last taste of European success.
Although the match against Atletico Madrid is clearly not of the same magnitude as the clash with Ajax nine years ago, it has still presented United fans with an excuse to revisit Stockholm.
If you are heading over to Sweden for the match, here is everything you need to know about Stockholm to have a good day.
How many Man Utd fans are going to Stockholm?
There is no way of knowing how many Manchester United fans will be in Stockholm for the match against Atletico Madrid, as the stadium is expected to be a mix of Man Utd, Atletico Madrid and local supporters.
The two clubs have been given designated sections of the stadium for their supporters (more on that shortly), but that doesn't tell us how many Man Utd fans will take up seats elsewhere in the stadium. The Red Devils have a larger Scandinavian fanbase than Atletico Madrid, though, so it's expected to feel more like a home match for United.
The Strawberry Arena has a capacity of 50,653 for football matches, and there are still thousands of tickets on sale for the match. If we had to guess, we'd say somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000 Man Utd fans will be in attendance, with the majority of those being locals.
Where will Man Utd fans sit at the Strawberry Arena?
In terms of seating allocation, Man Utd have been given blocks 118-123 behind one of the goals at the stadium, while Atletico Madrid fans have been given the equivalent blocks on the opposite side. While organisers would like fans of both clubs to follow these guidelines, tickets across the rest of the stadium are available on general sale.
The view from the Man Utd section behind the goal is excellent. There are no obstructed views in this part of the stadium, and the concourse facilities are excellent, with a spacious bar area where fans can buy food and drink.

Where to eat & drink for Man Utd fans in Stockholm
Manchester United fans who visited Stockholm in 2016 will know all about the extortionate food and drink prices in this part of the world. Nothing has changed in that regard over the last decade, but there are still some places worth checking out, and you may snag a deal along the way.

How to get to the Strawberry Arena: Guide for Man Utd fans in Stockholm
The most logical way to get to the Strawberry Arena from Stockholm is to get the train. Fans need to aim for Solna Station, which is located around a 10-minute walk away from the stadium. To get to this station, fans can board a direct train from either Stockholm City Station or Stockholm Odenplan.
Alternatively, Man Utd fans could use the city's metro system. From T-Centralen in the city centre, fans should take the blue line (no. 11) to either Solna Centrum, a 20-minute walk from the Strawberry Arena, or Nackrosen, a 15-minute walk away.
