Sunderland and Ronaldinho are set to link-up in a legends match at the Stadium of Light on May 25th.
The Brazilian forward may have called time on his playing career back in January 2018, but Ronaldinho is set to return to action and add Sunderland's home ground to the long list of iconic venues that he has graced.
Sunderland announced that the legends match will take place one day after the Black Cats welcome Chelsea to the Stadium of Light for the final Premier League game of the 2025/26 season on May 24th.
Tickets for the match have already gone up for sale on the club's ticketing website, with adult tickets priced at £25 and concessions at £20, while parking at the ground will be available for £10.
Who is confirmed to feature at the legends match?
Sunderland have confirmed that the match will see the 2005 Ballon d'Or winner lead his Ronaldinho & Friends team against former Black Cats star Jermain Defoe's UK icons side.

While the full squads are yet to be officially confirmed, several players set to feature alongside Ronaldinho have already been announced.
Ronaldinho will be joined by multiple former Manchester United players, including Kleberson, Anderson and the Da Silva twins, Rafael and Fabio, while fellow Brazilian Heurelho Gomes will also feature.
Another former Sunderland striker is also set to return to the Stadium of Light, with Djibril Cisse announced to be lining up for Ronaldinho & Friends.
FGG Says: Exciting Ronaldinho return
Ronaldinho is known as one of the most thrilling and entertaining footballers in history, with many falling in love with the beautiful game because of the Brazilian.
Those same emotions will certainly be reignited with Ronaldinho's return to action, while an appearance on English soil will be especially welcome after many were left disappointed at not being able to see the forward in action after his proposed move to Manchester United did not materialise all those years ago.
