Sunderland supporters have quickly snapped up all available tickets for next month's FA Cup trip to Everton, according to Sunderland Echo.
The Black Cats will make their first-ever trip to Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium for the third-round tie and have quickly filled up a larger allocation due to the competition.
Black Cats to take sell-out away following to Hill Dickinson Stadium
On Monday December 8, 2025, the third-round draw was made for the FA Cup, and Sunderland were handed a trip to fellow Premier League outfit Everton, with the tie set for a 12:15 kick off on Saturday January 10, 2026.
The cup contest marks the Wearside's first-ever trip to the Toffees' new home, with their top-flight meeting in Merseyside set for the penultimate round of fixtures of the campaign in May.
Following the announcement of the tie and confirmation of its date and time, Everton confirmed that a bumper allocation of 7,732 tickets would be available for away fans following the Black Cats.
Such an away capacity dwarves the usual allocations up for grabs for away sides at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for Premier League games, with FA Cup rules allowing for up to 15% of a home stadium to be made available for travelling supporters, subject to the local Safety Advisory Group (SAG) agreeing on the allocation.
The club quickly took to social media to hail the impressive scale of their travelling support.

Supporters helping Sunderland to memorable Premier League start
On their return to the Premier League for the first time since suffering relegation in 2017, Sunderland have enjoyed a strong first half to the campaign thus far, sitting sixth having earned 27 points from their first 17 games.
That is in no small part down to their large and vocal support, with home games at the Stadium of Light watched by an average of 46,610 fans per game thus far, the ninth-highest in England's top flight.
On the road, meanwhile, the Black Cats have consistently sold out away ends, with travelling fans seeing two wins and nine points from nine games on the road.
FGG says: Sunderland reaping the rewards of strong start and loyal support
Sunderland's selling out of a large allocation for an early-January FA Cup tie is the latest of a long list of impressive feats by one of England's larger fanbases.
The Black Cats fans have seen exponential improvement on the pitch in recent years and paid this back with support in large numbers, helping their side over the line and to a sixth-placed Premier League standing at Christmas.
Continuing to shine on and off the pitch, things are looking as bright in Wearside as they have for over 20 years.
