Tottenham are preparing for a new season and a fresh start under Thomas Frank, but before all of that can begin, they will have to play a match that will bring closure to the Ange Postecoglou era.
On Wednesday, 13 August, Spurs will take on PSG at the Stadio Friuli in the Super Cup. The match is the traditional curtain raiser for UEFA, whereby the previous season's Champions League winners take on the previous season's Europa League winners.
The Stadio Friuli is located in Udine, an Italian city that isn't a conventional location for tourists. For all Tottenham fans making the trip over to the city for the match, here is your matchday guide to Udine and the Stadio Friuli.

How many Tottenham fans are going to Udine?
The chance of playing in a European final isn't one that comes around often and after the highs of their previous one in Bilbao back in May, thousands of Tottenham fans are expected to make the trip over to northeastern Italy for the Super Cup.
Specifically, the club have been allocated 6,700 tickets for the match. These tickets were firstly sold to Tottenham season ticket holders before all remaining tickets were snapped up by official members with a minimum of 130 loyalty points.
Although it is a tad surprising that the sales criteria got down to members, there is still a decent chance that more than 6,700 Spurs fans will travel to Udine for the match to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a couple of days in Italy.

Where will Tottenham fans sit in the Stadio Friuli?
Both teams have been allocated the same number of tickets (6,700), and they will both take up one end of the stadium each. Both ends are identical in size and stature, and Tottenham have been allocated the north side, which is where the Udinese ultras usually sit.
Both ends of the stadium are made up of single-tier stands, and they were only rebuilt in 2012, so fans can expect good facilities and unobstructed views of the pitch. Due to the small size of the stadium, all fans will feel close to the action regardless of where they are based in the stand.

Where to eat & drink for Tottenham fans in Udine
The city of Udine isn't like other, more popular Italian cities, such as Rome and Milan, where you will find British bars and restaurants aplenty. Instead, Udine will provide fans with a more authentic look at Italy, which makes it a brilliant place to visit.
Even though the city is relatively small, there are still several bars and restaurants worth visiting. Three of our recommendations are:
- The Black Stuff – Via Gorghi, 3, 33100 Udine UD, Italy
- La Tana – Piazza Paolo Diacono, 10, 33100 Udine UD, Italy
- Taverna dell’Angelo – Via Lovaria, 3/b, 33100 Udine UD, Italy
How to get to the Stadio Friuli: Guide for Tottenham fans in Udine
The Stadio Friuli is around 4km to the east of the city centre, and while this is within walking distance for many fans, the location of the stadium on the edge of the motorway makes walking more complicated than it sounds.
The most straightforward way to get to the Stadio Friuli is to get on bus number nine from the city's main railway station. This bus service to the stadium takes around 20 minutes, provided fans get off at stop Mainerio. From here, just follow the crowd to the stadium.
