VfL Osnabruck supporters produced one of the most creative displays you are likely to see inside a football stadium before their German Cup clash with Bayern Munich.
The Purple-Whites ultras turned the stands into a working roller coaster, perfectly capturing the highs and lows of following the club.

Under the slogan “VfL Osnabruck is a roller coaster ride”, masked dolls were placed on a moving roller coaster that travelled through the stands at the Bremer Brucke.
The spectacular tifo was a nod to the unpredictable journey of the second-tier club, with supporters using a genuinely moving installation rather than a conventional banner or card display.
Osnabruck then produced their own shock on the pitch by taking a fifth-minute lead against Bayern through Robin Meissner's spectacular long-range effort.
The Bundesliga champions eventually turned the game around to win 4-1, with Harry Kane among the scorers, but the home support still earned plenty of praise.
Even Kane described the atmosphere as “incredible” and said German fans consistently produce outstanding atmospheres regardless of the division or stadium.

This is exactly what makes football supporter culture so brilliant.
Osnabruck fans took a simple idea and turned it into something genuinely unique and memorable, creating a moving spectacle that perfectly represented their club's ups and downs.
Losing 4-1 to Bayern will obviously hurt, but nobody in that stadium will forget a night when the Bremer Brucke became a roller coaster, and that is what football should be about.
