Aston Villa supporters have been given another detailed look at the huge redevelopment taking place at Villa Park, with fresh drone footage revealing significant progress across multiple areas of the stadium.

Aston Villa fans get fresh look at what is going on at Villa Park
New drone footage filmed earlier this week has highlighted the scale of the ongoing construction work at Villa Park, with demolition of the North Stand continuing at pace.
The video shows much of the stand's roof structure and front sections now removed, while a huge piling machine – reported to be one of only three of its kind in Europe – has arrived on site to begin the extensive foundation work needed for the replacement stand.
Elsewhere, work continues around the Holte End, where the corner sections are being redeveloped to accommodate new corporate seating.
Construction is also progressing on a new generator area and an expanded car park, with foundations now clearly visible from above.
Inside the stadium, changes are also taking shape along the Trinity Road Stand, where the lower seating layout is being reconfigured.
The footage also provides an update on the area surrounding Villa Park, including Witton Station, where future improvements are expected to make matchday access easier for supporters through a new pedestrian route.
Fans reacted very positively to the latest update, with one supporter describing the progress as “fascinating”, while others praised the decision to preserve the iconic appearance of the Holte End as the stadium enters a new era.
FGG says: Villa Park progress continues despite testing conditions
With construction teams working through one of the hottest spells of weather the UK has experienced this summer, the progress visible across Villa Park is particularly impressive.
The redevelopment is one of the biggest stadium projects currently underway in English football, and each update offers supporters another glimpse of how one of the game's most iconic grounds is being carefully modernised without losing its identity.
For Villa fans, the scale of the work also highlights the level of disruption and change that comes with such an ambitious project, particularly around access routes and matchday logistics.
However, if progress continues at this pace, they can be optimistic that the final result will significantly enhance both capacity and the overall matchday experience.
