Aston Villa's £100m redevelopment of Villa Park continues to gather pace this summer, with fresh drone footage highlighting several noticeable changes across the stadium.

Supporters have now been given another detailed look at the progress being made ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Aston Villa fans given latest glimpse at Villa Park progress

New drone footage from Justin Talks Villa has revealed further progress on Villa's ongoing redevelopment works, with significant changes visible around the North Stand and other parts of Villa Park.

The most striking update comes at the North Stand, where sections of the new structure continue to take shape. The left-hand structural wall has now been filled to the new stand level, while roofing has been removed on the opposite side as demolition and rebuilding work continues with the help of heavy machinery and a large crane.

Elsewhere, the existing pitch has been completely removed to allow work around the stadium perimeter before a new surface is laid ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Excavation work is also well underway near the current players' tunnel, with the footage suggesting construction has begun on Aston Villa's new tunnel entrance.

Other visible developments include the completion of a new disabled viewing platform in the Doug Ellis Stand, continued work on Trinity Road and ongoing improvements around the Holte End.

The latest update suggests the redevelopment is continuing steadily as Villa push forward with one of the Premier League's most ambitious stadium projects.

FGG says: Villa Park redevelopment continues to transform Villa's historic home

Every new construction update makes the scale of Aston Villa's redevelopment even more apparent.

While the North Stand remains the headline project, it's the simultaneous improvements to areas such as the player tunnel, accessibility facilities and stadium infrastructure that show this is a comprehensive modernisation rather than simply an expansion.

With Champions League football and European ambitions becoming the norm under Unai Emery, Villa Park is steadily evolving into a stadium that better reflects the club's growing stature both on and off the pitch.
