Wrexham CEO Michael Williamson has revealed that the club are in the process of finding suitable land for a new training ground.
The Red Dragons are in the mood for rapid development following three straight promotions from the National League to the Championship in recent times.
The North Wales outfit are currently undergoing works on a new Kop stand at the Racecourse Ground, which has only had three stands at the beginning of this term.
Phil Parkinson's troops are currently on a four-game unbeaten run in the Championship, helping their chances of mounting a playoff push.
There was a respectable share of the spoils for the Dragons on the weekend, when they played out a goalless draw at Ipswich Town.

“Three-to-five-year proccess” – Wrexham CEO confirms training ground intent
Wrexham are also looking to make improvements to their training ground situation, with CEO Williamson stating that building the new venue will be a “three-to-five year process”.
“The training facilities are clearly an important one,” claimed Williamson via the Leader. “However, it's also a complicated one where we have to find land.
“We've been looking at different land pieces but then once you see the land, you need to do soil samples, master planning and feasibility studies.
“And ultimately, if you find something, you need to find an agreement, purchase it, or get a long-term lease and then you have to go through the development process.
“This is going to be a three-to-five year process to be able to have a training facility to where we want it to be and where we need it to be.
“So in the interim, we have Colliers. There's two great pitches there that we have access to now.
“We worked with the Football Association of Wales (FAW) where we've helped invest in the second pitch so they have two stitch pitches there, and we have a stitch pitch here (at The Racecourse), so all three are the same playing surface.
“We're having conversations with the FAW to see how we can use Colliers (Park) more in the short term. When I say short term, the next three to five years, to be able to meet the needs of what we would expect for a Championship level squad.”
Where do Wrexham currently train?
As mentioned by Williamson above, Wrexham are currently based at Colliers Park, a training facility owned by the Football Association of Wales.
The facility contains two full-sized pitches which are extremely similar to the one laid down at the Racecourse Ground recently.
Due to the relative small scale of the training ground, Wrexham's youth teams are based elsewhere, meaning that transitioning between the Under-21s and senior groups is a difficulty.
FGG says: Preparing for the Premier League
By the time a new training ground is built for Wrexham in around five years, the club would expect to be brushing shoulders with the pyramid's elite in the Premier League.
In terms of player recruitment, it is important that the Red Dragons have their own facilities in order to lure top talent in North Wales.
