Tino Livramento's stock has risen sharply over the past year, to the point now where the 22-year-old is considered a banker for the England 2026 World Cup squad, provided he is fit.
The former Chelsea academy graduate signed for Newcastle in 2023, and after a short period of learning the ropes from the bench, he quickly became a regular under Eddie Howe at right-back, replacing the experienced Kieran Trippier.
Livramento's rise to first-team regular at Newcastle also saw him become a fan favourite at St James' Park. It came as no surprise, therefore, when a Tino Livramento chant began to surface in 2024.
Tino Livramento chant, lyrics and tune
The Tino Livramento chant is sung to the tune of ‘Wonderful Days' by Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo. The lyrics are as follows:
I found a love, I fell for him fast,
His name is Tino, he's f***ing class,
He loves the Geordies, we love him too,
Livramento is a Mag through and through

The Tino Livramento chant is effectively one big love letter from Newcastle fans to their young full-back. The song is evidence of how highly rated he is at St James' Park and also of how the fans feel that their support is appreciated by the player.
Although Livramento has never spoken directly about the football chant, he has previously waxed lyrical about how much he enjoys life at Newcastle. In an interview in 2024, he said:
“I’m at a place I absolutely love – the atmosphere, the supporters, the manager, it feels like I’m in a great place at Newcastle. I’m in the best place I could be to learn and develop as a footballer.”
Well, there you have it then, maybe he truly does ‘love the Geordies' as the song suggests.

FGG says: A chant with a short shelf life?
Football is a fickle business, and although there is plenty of love between Livramento and the Newcastle fans at present, that can quickly change. The player has been heavily linked with a move away from St James' Park in recent transfer windows, and if he were to push for a move, then Newcastle fans aren't the type to forgive and forget.
