Callum Hudson-Odoi was tipped for huge things when he first came through the ranks at Chelsea in the late 2010s, and while he is yet to hit the heights that were once expected of him, he is enjoying himself again at Nottingham Forest.
The talented winger signed for the Reds back in the summer of 2023, and he has gone on to become one of the club's best and most important players.
During the 2024/25 season, when the club enjoyed their best domestic campaign for several decades, the Nottingham Forest fans came up with a brilliant chant for Hudson-Odoi.

Callum Hudson-Odoi chant, lyrics and tune
The Callum Hudson-Odoi chant is sung to the tune of ‘American Boy' by Estelle and Kanye West. It's the same tune that Leeds fans use for their Brenden Aaronson chant. The lyrics are as follows:
Take me on a trip, I'd like to go someday,
Leverkusen, Copenhagen, and Marseille,
I really want to,
Spend Thursdays with you,
Super Callum Hudson-Odoi, Hudson-Odoi

The idea of singing about European away trips to Leverkusen, Copenhagen and Marseille wouldn't have even entered the brains of Nottingham Forest fans when Hudson-Odoi signed for the club in 2023; however, it very quickly became part of the agenda during the 2024/25 season.
Hudson-Odoi was one of the club's best players during that fabled season, which was the club qualify for European football for the first time since the 1990s.
The player himself is a fan of the chant, too. In a video published by the official Nottingham Forest YouTube channel, the player was shown a clip of the fans singing the chant, before saying: “This is a good one, I can't lie! Now I need them (Nottingham Forest fans) to sing it louder.”

FGG says: One of Forest's best
Callum Hudson-Odoi is one of Nottingham Forest's best players, so it is fitting that one of their best football chants is dedicated to him. Leeds were the first club in English football to use American Boy as a tune for a chant, but this follow-up from Forest fans deserves credit, too.
