Who are Chelsea playing in pre-season friendlies?
Chelsea start their pre-season preparations with a game against Wrexham at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. They faced the same opposition during last season’s US tour, winning 5-0 at Kenan Memorial Stadium.
Three days later, they will play the Scottish Champions Celtic, who are coached by former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
The last game that Maresca’s side play in July is against Club America at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which is one of the host venues for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
Finally, Chelsea finish their tour of the USA with games against Manchester City and Real Madrid on 3 August and 6 August, respectively.
