A peak of 15.4 million viewers watched England’s final Group C match against Slovenia on ITV1 and ITVX. The match was ITV’s biggest audience this year, as England struggled to a 0-0 draw, which secured the top spot in the group.

15.4 million people tune in to goalless draw
ITV announced that England’s final group game “drew the biggest audience of the tournament so far on ITV's channels.” On all devices, the average viewership was 14.5 million across the 90 minutes, while an average of 9.2 million viewers watched the full coverage, starting at 6:45pm and ending at 10:45pm.
Previously, the opening game between Germany and Scotland had the highest peak audience of any opening match of a major international tournament in a decade. This game saw a peak of 10.5 million viewers tune in to watch the game on ITV1 and ITVX. Since the start of the competition, Euro 2024 has been streamed 170 million times on ITVX.
ITV1 and ITVX to show next England match
The panel of pundits includes Ian Wright, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Karen Carney, Graeme Souness, Eni Aluko, Gael Clichy, Joleon Lescott, Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou, Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Röhl and the popular referee analyst Christina Unkel. Mark Pougatch and Laura Woods are the main presenters of ITV’s coverage.
England’s Round of 16 match on Sunday, June 30, will also be broadcast on ITV, with coverage beginning at 3:30pm, ahead of the 5pm kick-off. The Three Lions will find out their opponents after the final two groups are concluded on Wednesday evening.
