As one of the biggest sides in the Premier League, and the largest amongst London's football clubs, Arsenal regularly sell out the Emirates Stadium on matchdays, bringing thousands of visitors to the local area.
This influx of foot traffic to the Gunners' North London home is also a major boon to businesses in the area, not least the many pubs near the ground, which welcome fans of all stripes to enjoy a pre-match drink.

Best pubs near Emirates Stadium
On matchday, many fans naturally want to be surrounded by fellow fans of their own club, not just for safety, but in order to build up the atmosphere before and after a game. There is also little better than debating the match with supporters over a beer before kick-off.
One of the best spots around for this is the Tollington Arms – an Arsenal-only pub – that has won countless awards over the years, though it certainly is not the only one available to you, given the wide array of pubs situated around the Emirates.
Our list of the best pubs for Arsenal fans near the Emirates Stadium is as follows:
- Tollington Arms, 15 Hornsey Rd, London N7 6DN – 7-minute walk to the stadium
- The Plimsoll, 52 St Thomas's Rd, Finsbury Park, London N4 2QQ – 12-minute walk to the stadium
- The Gunners Pub, 204 Blackstock Rd, London N5 1EN – 13-minute walk to the stadium
- The Twelve Pins, 263 Seven Sisters Rd, Finsbury Park, London N4 2DE – 19-minute walk to the stadium
- Famous Cock Tavern, 259 Upper St, London N1 1RU – 21-minute walk to the stadium
- The Faltering Fullback, 19 Perth Rd, Finsbury Park, London N4 3HB – 26-minute walk to the stadium
It is worth noting that on matchday, many of these pubs will require a valid match ticket or Arsenal membership card to be presented before entry into the premises is granted.

However, not all fans in the area on matchday will be Arsenal fans and away supporters, like their counterparts, will be on the hunt for top-notch pubs to get those pre-game drinks flowing.
The Hercules, which is located on Holloway Road, is a must-visit for travelling supporters and is widely regarded as the best pub for away fans in the local area.
Options for non-Arsenal fans are understandably more limited, but our full list of the best pubs for away fans near the Emirates Stadium is as follows:
- The Hercules, 504 Holloway Rd, London N7 6JA – 17-minute walk to the stadium
- The Coronet, 338 Holloway Rd, London N7 6NJ – 10-minute walk to the stadium
A last resort could be The Twelve Pins, which, while predominantly an Arsenal fan pub, does often welcome away fans of non-rival clubs without any trouble.

Drinking inside the Emirates Stadium
Perhaps none of those choices stands out to you, or maybe you aren't a fan of pubs altogether. In that case, one option available to you would be to get your pre-game drinks at the Arsenal stadium.
As is the case with the vast majority of Premier League grounds, however, your wallet is unlikely to thank you for doing so as the price of a pint at the Emirates starts at around £7.
In terms of beer, you will have three main options at your disposal: Camden Hells Lager, Camden Pale Ale and Magners Cider. If you are also in the mood for some food to soak the drink up with, then you will have a wide selection of stalls inside the stadium to choose from, each serving an array of the expected pies, hot dogs, burgers, chips and much more.
Drinking away from the Emirates Stadium
There is also the option of drinking from further afield before making your way to the Emirates. If this sounds more up your street, then you aren't short of options in the capital of England.
The most logical decision is to drink near a neighbouring tube station that is on the same line as either Arsenal station, Finsbury Park station or Highbury Islington Station. All three of these stations are a short walk away from the Emirates Stadium.
King's Cross is just three stops away from the Arsenal Station on the Piccadilly line and is surrounded by pubs, restaurants and bars. This is often where day tripping fans take a stop, as it is also relatively close to some key London landmarks.
