After bidding an emotional farewell to Goodison Park last term, Everton have adapted fairly well to their new surroundings at the state-of-the-art Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Toffees have won four, drawn two and lost two of their eight Premier League home games this term, including a dominant 3-0 success against Nottingham Forest in their most recent outing at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.
Overall, Everton have picked up 24 points from 15 matches, leaving them in seventh position and just two points adrift of the top four. While David Moyes is eyeing a bid for European qualification, a former Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has heaped praise on the Toffees manager and promised that he will visit the new stadium at some point in the future.

Ancelotti makes promise to Everton fans
“I loved the period at Everton,” Ancelotti told TNT Sports. “It was a difficult period because it was COVID there but I have a good memory of the environment there, and I'm looking always to the result of Everton.”
“I know that Moyes now is doing a fantastic job,” Ancelotti added. “They have a new stadium, and one day I will be there to support Everton in their new stadium.”
Ancelotti was in charge of the Merseyside club from December 2019 to June 2021. The experienced manager won 31, drew 14 and lost 22 of his 67 games as Everton boss, guiding the club to a 12th-place finish in 2019-20 and a 10th-place finish in 2020-21.
The 66-year-old resigned in the summer of 2021 to return to Real Madrid, where he stayed until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
FGG says: Reflection of Ancelotti's character
It was seen as a significant coup when Everton appointed Ancelotti in 2019, considering the fact that he is known for managing some of Europe's biggest clubs.
Ancelotti could have easily have put his Everton days behind him after leaving for Real Madrid in 2021. However, the Italian is a true gentleman of the game, and it is a reflection of his character that he still holds Everton in high esteem despite winning major honours with some of his other clubs, including five Champions League trophies during his managerial career (two with AC Milan and three with Real Madrid)
The former Real Madrid boss is currently focusing his efforts on preparing Brazil for next year's World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the USA. So Everton fans may have to remain patient to see their former manager visit the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and who knows, he may even return to the Toffees dugout at some point in the future.
