As per Building, Sisk have been eager to be at the front of Leeds' expansion plans for some time.

Leeds have long been in discussions with the council over their ambitions to modernise Elland Road.

FFG says: Balancing act needs to be found with Elland Road expansion
Ahead of the Premier League fixture between Leeds and Man City on February 28, Guardiola talked up his appreciation of Elland Road.
The Spaniard praised the traditions of the ground, and supporters will naturally hope that any expansion preserves the current feel and atmosphere that is generated.
That all said, there will be excitement at the plans that have been put in place, particularly if Leeds can re-establish themselves as a club regularly participating in the Premier League.
There has been no significant development to Elland Road since the work done on the East Stand back in 1992.
