Everton supporters will be given a chance to step inside the new Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday night, completely free of charge, to watch the club’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Trinity Bar, one of the stadium’s premium spaces, will open late for the screening of the match, which kicks off at 8pm GMT at Old Trafford. Fans will not need a ticket to enter, and the bar will be fully operational throughout the evening.

In a message shared on X, the stadium’s official account announced: “On Monday night, Trinity Bar will be staying open late so fans can watch Manchester United v Everton (GMT 8pm) from one of our premium spaces at Hill Dickinson Stadium. No tickets required. The bar will be open, and food will be available to purchase.”

The gesture gives Everton supporters another taste of the new waterfront venue that has been turning heads since its completion.

Everton making moves to help fans integrate to new Hill Dickinson Stadium vibe

Opening Trinity Bar to the public free of charge is being seen as a smart move by the club, allowing supporters to get familiar with the stadium’s facilities.

The premium space offers large screens, food options, and full bar service, creating a gameday-style environment inside the new ground.

Everton have increasingly used these open-access events to build momentum around Hill Dickinson Stadium, with some fans still adjusting to their new home.

Monday’s big-screen broadcast could be one of the most popular yet, given the opposition and the excitement of experiencing an away game on the home front. It also represents another step in the club’s strategy of integrating the new stadium into the supporter experience.

Strengthening the bond between club and community

Club officials will hope that initiatives like this deepen the connection between fans and their future home. Supporters will not only be able to watch a major fixture, but also explore an area of the stadium that will eventually host match-going fans in its premium hospitality spaces.

The event also brings more people into the Liverpool waterfront development, further embedding the stadium into the cultural and social life of the city. For some attending, it will be their first time inside the highly anticipated venue.

FGG Says

Everton’s decision to open Trinity Bar for free on a match night is clever, timely and fan-focused. It builds excitement around Hill Dickinson Stadium while giving supporters a sense of ownership.

These small but meaningful gestures help strengthen fan engagement, humanise the move to a new ground and keep the club connected to its supporters during a period of transition. In an era where Premier League matchday experiences can feel increasingly expensive, a free night inside a world-class venue is a statement of intent.
