Hospitality pricing for one FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium has sparked backlash among supporters.

Fans have criticised huge price differences between Leeds United vs Chelsea and the other last-four clash.

Leeds vs Chelsea hospitality prices three times more than other FA Cup semi-final

Details circulating online show hospitality packages for Leeds vs Chelsea costing £695 plus VAT per person.

That figure is nearly three times higher than the £250 plus VAT price listed for Manchester City vs Southampton, despite both matches being played at the same stage of the competition and at the same venue.

The packages include early stadium access, premium food and drink options, and additional perks such as matchday programmes, but the stark contrast in pricing has raised eyebrows.

Supporters have accused organisers of capitalising on higher demand for the Leeds vs Chelsea fixture, suggesting pricing has been inflated simply because it is likely to sell out.

FGG says: FA Cup pricing may reflect demand but it still feels like a stretch

There’s little doubt demand plays a role here.

Leeds vs Chelsea is a bigger draw on paper, given the size of the fanbases and the moment, so hospitality pricing often follows that trend.

But charging nearly three times as much for essentially the same product at the same stadium for the same competition round is always going to look excessive.

For supporters already frustrated with rising costs across the game, it only reinforces the feeling that governing bodies are pushing the limits of what fans will pay.

Even if it makes commercial sense, it doesn’t sit particularly well, especially at a competition that still prides itself on tradition and accessibility.
