Barcelona’s long wait to fully reopen the Camp Nou is set to be rewarded with a significant financial windfall once renovation work is completed.
New projections highlight just how central the revamped stadium will be to the club’s long-term recovery plans.
How much could Barcelona earn when the Camp Nou is fully open?
Barcelona believe the full reopening of their home could increase their overall commercial and marketing revenue by around €350 million (£305 million), underlining the stadium’s importance as a financial engine for the club, as per MARCA.
After years of disruption and sacrifice during redevelopment, the LaLiga giants have revised their forecasts upwards, driven largely by strong demand for VIP seating and new sponsorship agreements linked to the modernised venue.
A key factor is the launch of a new hospitality model, which allows buyers to secure long-term VIP seat licences for periods of between 15 and 30 years. Around 2,000 seats have been released initially, with access to the Business Club, as part of a phased rollout designed to protect exclusivity and sustain premium demand.
Licence prices range from €20,000 (£17,000) to €80,000 (£72,000) depending on seat location and contract length, with annual fees between €6,000 (£5,200) and €12,000 (£10,500).
Importantly, licence holders can resell, pause or return their seats, while also marketing certain matches through the club. Early indications suggest the product has been particularly well received by corporate clients.

FGG says: Barcelona hopes the Camp Nou capacity will increase soon
These revised projections come as Barcelona continue to push for gradual increases in matchday capacity.
Once fully operational, the renovated stadium is expected to dramatically outperform pre-renovation revenue levels, not only on matchdays but also through sponsorship, hospitality and year-round commercial activity.
And the prospect of expanding capacity to around 62,000 in the near term is central to the Catalan giant's optimism. A quicker return to full crowds would accelerate revenue growth and ease financial pressure.
For Barcelona, the Camp Nou's full reopening will be a vital step toward long-term sustainability.
