How to get tickets to Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham in the Europa League

On Thursday, 8 May, Bodo/Glimt will take on Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final tie.

After the first leg, Spurs have a 3-1 lead over Bodo/Glimt, but the Norwegian side are a different beast on home soil and are still in the tie as things stand.

This match represents one of the biggest in Bodo/Glimt's history, so the demand for tickets is through the roof. Their stadium's small capacity of 8,270 isn't helping matters, either.

If you are on the hunt for Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham tickets, here is everything you need to know.

Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham tickets: Buying guide

Home tickets

As mentioned earlier, Bodo/Glimt's stadium, the Aspmyra Stadion, is only small with a capacity of just 8,270, so tickets are proving hard to come by for Bodo/Glimt's supporters.

All official tickets are now sold out for the fixture after the club gave priority to season ticket holders before selling all remaining tickets the old-fashioned way – a queue at the stadium for all supporters.

While this method isn't unusual in Norway, it was also a way to guarantee that no Tottenham fans could purchase tickets online in the home sections.

Away tickets

Tottenham have only been given an allocation of 404 tickets for the match against Bodo/Glimt, which is one of the lowest allocations they have received in the Europa League all season. The figure is right on the 5% threshold that UEFA demands all clubs give to away supporters.

Due to the small allocation, the required criteria for getting a ticket has been extremely high. Only Tottenham season ticket holders with 512 or more ticketing points were successful in their application for tickets, and all of these tickets have now been assigned.

Although the allocation is low, the ticket price almost makes up for it. Instead of seeing this match as a cash grab, Bodo/Glimt have been fair to all supporters and have charged Tottenham fans just £21.50 per ticket.

Hospitality

There are no hospitality tickets available for Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham. All boxes and suites at the Aspmyra Stadion for the match are either already sold out or have been given to sponsors.

Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham tickets: Alternative options

For tickets for matches of this magnitude, the demand is so high that fans are always looking for alternative methods to get into the stadium.

Going through the clubs in question is often an impossible task, particularly if you aren't a season ticket holder or member at either club.

Therefore, fans often turn to third-party ticket resale websites to get their hands on tickets, but this is often a risky strategy. For starters, a lot of these sites allow scammers to list tickets, while all of them allow ticket holders to charge whatever they want for their unwanted tickets.

So, at worst, you are going to buy a fake ticket and at best, you are going to pay significantly over the odds.
