Kylian Mbappe has wasted no time in getting into the good books of Real Madrid fans after the Frenchman posted something on social media that can only be described as a love letter.
Mbappe posted several pictures of his younger self donning Real Madrid attire on Instagram, suggesting that the Spanish giants were always his destiny. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the 25-year-old said:
“A dream come true. So happy and proud to join the club of my dreams, Real Madrid. Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. ¡Hala Madrid!

Mbappe's history with PSG fans bodes well for his time in Spain
Despite there being rumours about his loyalty to PSG for several year, Mbappe always retained a strong relationship with the core part of PSG's fanbase – the ultras. The Frenchman stayed in their good books even when they had turned on other superstars, such as Lionel Messi and Neymar.
While Mbappe's heritage as a local boy from Paris certainly helped his case when it came to building a strong relationship with PSG fans, his passion and effort levels on the pitch always surpassed his other superstar teammates in the French capital. Additionally, more often than not, he was the man to come up with big goals in big moments for the club.
Mbappe's relationship with the PSG ultras was so strong that during his final match for the club last month, the end of the Parc de Princes where the ultras stand unveiled a huge Mbappe tifo to show their appreciation for the former Monaco man.
Real Madrid fans are notoriously hard to please but given Mbappe's strong bond with the PSG ultras, it wouldn't be surprising to see Madristas fall in love with him, too.
